In the next book Tom Sawyer thinks Huckleberry Finn should be taught to be more proper. So, now Huck is living with a widow who is teaching him how to behave and be more proper. But Huck didn't want to be tied down he wanted to be free. In a twist of fate his pap has come and kidnaped him and taken Huck to his pap's cabin. One morning Huck finds a canoe while fishing with his pap and in the close future he seizes the opportunity to escape. He goes down the river and eventually meets up with Huck's older buddy Jim and they decide to go down the Mississippi river and thats how their big adventure begins!
