I am number four is about a teenage boy living on the run with his cepan or guard Henri. He has a cepan because he is not an normal american teenager, he is a alien sent from Lorien to build up his legacies and fight against the Mogadorians to claim and build lorien back.
During this time he travels all around the U.S.A and hides until its not safe. After coming to Ohio Paridice they stay and john decides to go to school. There he meets good people and some bad but after a while things go wrong and they need to move but with johns legacy's just coming and growing stronger they stay and get prepared for the worst.
I really like this book and i think my favorite part is how the author uses his name in some things and i also liked the parts when john gets his legacy's because it really describes to you how it feels and its almost like you can feel it too.
if i had to change anything it would be when Henri dies because i think it would have been better if he stayed and helped john more.
