The Maze Runner - By Marc Pilon

   The Maze Runner is about this young boy named Thomas that wakes up one morning in a metal surrounded box, that is in this place called the Glade that is inside a giant maze and remembers nothing about his regular life, only his name. Thomas has to work together with the others boys that came up in the elevator to fight for their life while battling his emotions to survive the maze. Inside the Glade there are monsters known as grievers that come out every night to hold the runners back from finding a way out of this deathtrap.

   I very much liked this book, it was action packed and filled with thrilling events putting me at the edge of my chair. The end of this book made me want more and I can't wait for the second book and more to come. Thomas decides that he wants to be a runner and is drawn to the role but first he has much to learn about the Glade itself and the maze outside. Will he survive this maze and find a way out to live and reveal his true identity.
