7, 14, 21, 28, 35 Counting by 7’s - Erik Younk

When I was assigned to read this book I was disappointed. I didn't really think much of the title - I wanted to read Maze Runner. I'm not much of a reader but once I got into this book I loved it and I've never gotten into a book like this before. So if we win, and I think we will, it is because this such a good book - it really sucks you in!

This book is about a girl named Willow, who is very intelligent and can outsmart somebody, but she’s been through foster care twice and that was too much for her. The second time she is in foster care she has an adventure with new friends and new experiences. If she did not experience foster care a second time she would have never have been able to do the things she got to do with her new friends. Something this book made me think about is that even if something bad or really bad happens to you or your family sometimes you just have to let go and move on because you never know what the future will hit you with. So yes I think this was a great book and I hope it wins!

  1. I greatly agree.
I read this book and it was full of emotion, and events that we can almost all relate to.
