This is the story of a hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, who loves his comfortable, non-adventurous hobbit hole. Baggins rarely travels any further than the pantry of his hobbit hole.
Until one day, the wizard, Gandalf, and thirteen dwarves arrive on his front door step and convince him to go on a grand journey 'there and back again'.
Their goal is to capture the treasure of Smaug the Magnificent. It will take courage, bravery, and perseverance to defeat all of the evil creatures that are to be found, especially a dragon...
What I liked about this book was the adventure and detail that was put into the novel.
What I disliked about this book was how long it took to move on to the next scene. The novel was difficult to follow because the author took a long time to describe a scene or an object.
Overall I thought this book was interesting and others should definitely read it.
