Counting By 7s is a book about a 12 year old girl, Willow Chance, who's life crumbles one afternoon. Willow Chance is genius, she can learn a new language in little to no time, she can complete tests in minutes, and many more mind blowing things. During the book Willow meets Dell Duke and Mai. Dell Duke is a school counsellor and Mai is a girl who's brother, Quang-Ha, goes to Dell Duke for counselling. Later on in the book Mai becomes Willow's best friend.
What I liked about the book is that at the start I didn't really want to read this book because I got stuck with it, but once I started reading it I started to think better of the book and it actually turned out to be a pretty good book.
I would change the part when the car crash happened because I couldn't really quite get what happened and more description on that would be great.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes books about people's lives, sad stories, and drama.
