Maze Runner By: Jessica Stiegelmar

Maze Runner is an extraordinary book that I had a VERY VERY hard time to put down when it was time to sleep. If you love books that are intense and breathe taking this is your book.

Thomas a 16 year old boy wakes up in a metal box with no memory of who he is. He only remembers his name and a couple short glimpses of his life before now. Doors open overtop of him revealing a bunch of young boys all living on a type of courtyard surrounded by very high walls. The place is called the Glade. Outside the Glade, beyond the walls is a humongous  Maze with monsters, known as Grievers. This maze is the only way out and has never been solved. Every month a new boy is sent to the Glade. Each week supplies come up through the elevator that Thomas arrived in. Thomas experiences a weird feeling that he is going to save the boys living here. Ever since that feeling Thomas pushes the limits and tries his best to be a hero. Will Thomas be that hero or will he mess it all up?

James Dashner wrote this book very well and it has captivating words.I really liked this book and I hope to read the next book too.
