Labels often influence personality- The Hobbit by: Sydney slubik

In the darkest times, one only has oneself to rely on. Bilbo Baggins a respectable and well known hobbit unwillingly sets out on a journey to reclaim a vast stolen treasure. He is accompanied by a group of dwarves and Gandalf the wizard. His undertaking, which primary is set out in a prophecy of the dwarves, helps him to discover his courage and inner strength.
There were many things I loved about this book but some of them stood out from the rest. I love how every chapter of The Hobbit is filled with action and important events (with exception of the first few chapters). I also love how the book is so unpredictable and I wanted to keep reading to find out what occurs next!
On the other hand there is one major thing I would have changed if I was the author. I would have made the characters embark on their journey a little sooner! The first few chapters are dull and don't experience much action. Overall I really enjoyed reading The Hobbit!
