Malice ~ Jordan King

Malice

Earth is boring. It's just too plain and too ordinary. Don't you ever wish that you could enter a different world? Escape and forget everything that you know, go beyond any place you have been before. Well now, you can.

All you need to do is gather a few items say a chant and before you know it, there will be a tall, slender man (Tall Jake) standing before you. Many eager children and teenagers get flooded by their curiosity and attempt this. It usually doesn't turn out as they would of liked it to.

After they perform the ritual, they get taken away to a world where there is no security, or help. Taken to a place where deadly creatures and critters roam the land. A place where skies aren't blue and where the only hope of escape depends on you and your will to survive. Taken to Malice.

One of the things I loved about this book was that the author added in the comic sketches. That was nice because it gave me something to look at and enjoy, also gave my mind a rest from all the reading.

If I could change anything about this book I would change the ending. It seemed to me that the book had a very fast ending and I thought that it ended with me not wanting to carry on reading the second book in the series.

My favorite character in this book was definitely Seth. I loved his daring and anxious personality and how he wasn’t threatened by any of the dangerous creatures in the mysterious world of Malice.
