wonder by R. J. Palacio (BY; Jared Holliday)

This book is about a young boy named, August Pullman, who also goes by the name Auggie. August was born with a previously unknown type of mandibulofacial dysostosis caused by an autosomal recessive mutation in the TCOF1 gene. i think this was a really easy read i think they could have used a higher vocabulary when they wrote this book. he is in his first year of school at beecherman prep school his mom at the start said he should go then she said he should not go and that was the same as his dad but opposite to his mom. i think this book would be good for 9 -10 year old. In the book he has to push through his life always being jugged on something that is a very rare thing. also he is in grade (5). It is hard for him to make friends but on the first day his teacher put what will be his best friend beside him in all of his classes and at lunch he sites by him self and summer sites beside him and they make the summer named table. over all I enjoyed the book it was very nice to see all of the different views of all the different people.
